The Redmi Note 7 comes with a glass front and back. It has got Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both sides. The phone features a 6.3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The Redmi Note 7 comes with a dewdrop notch, a notification LED and a hybrid SIM slot. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, the phone runs on Xiaomi’s MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie. The base variant comes with 3GB+32GB RAM and internal storage options while the higher variant has got 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
The device comes backed by a 4000mAh battery. There is fast charging support too but no fast charging adapter comes with the pack.
The phone comes with dual 4G VoLTE support and the other connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, USB-OTG etc.
Factory Reset Protection (FRP) is a security feature on Android devices with Lollipop 5.1 and higher. If you want to reset your device to factory defaults, make sure you know your Google Account and Password, because you will need to login at the end of the reset.
If you are not able to reach the settings menu, you can do hard reset process via recovery mode. Usually, recovery mode is usable when you forget pattern lock or screen lock, the phone stuck in boot logo or restarts itself constantly.
You can finish hard reset process via recovery mode by following the below steps:
Power off your device and wait a few seconds.
Press and hold "Volume +" and "Power" buttons together
When you see the Xiaomi logo release the "Power" button, but keep holding "Volume +" until the recovery mode screen comes.
Leave all the buttons when Mi Recovery Mode screen appears.
Go to "Wipe Data" option using volume buttons and press "Power" button to confirm it.
Go to "Wipe All Data" and press "Power" button to continue.
Go to "Confirm" and press "Power" button to continue.
After the process finishes, go to "Back to Main Menu" and press "Power" button.
Go to "Reboot" and press "Power" button to continue.
Go to "Reboot to System" and press "Power" button to continue.
After a few minutes, your device will reboot and factory data reset process finishes. First opening can be a little longer than usual. At the welcome screen, login your Google and Mi accounts.
